Privacy Policy
At Santa Lucia Bank, we recognize and respect the personal privacy of our customers. Therefore, our policies and procedures are designed to protect the confidentiality of customer information. This policy applies equally to traditional services provided in person in our branch offices, by telephone, and electronic services provided through a personal computer, or the internet.
COLLECTION, USE AND RETENTION OF CUSTOMER INFORMATION
At Santa Lucia Bank, we collect, use and retain personal information about you in order to serve your financial needs and administer your personal accounts and transactions. For visitors to a branch office, no information is collected unless you ask that something be sent to you or you want a telephone call from us. For visitors to our Web site, our Web server automatically recognizes your Internet Service Provider's domain name (but not your e-mail address). We also aggregate information on what pages visitors access or visit. The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web pages. As with visitors to a branch office, if you want something sent to you or you ask a question, we will need your e-mail or postal address, or your telephone number, to contact you.
If you are, or become, a customer of Santa Lucia Bank, personal information about you is collected at the time of account or loan application. Transaction data is also collected and retained in the ordinary course of business. All personal information collected and retained by Santa Lucia Bank is used for specific business purposes to protect and administer your personal accounts and transactions, to comply with state and federal banking regulations, and to help improve or design our products and services.
MAINTENANCE OF ACCURATE INFORMATION
We will do our best to keep the information collected complete, current and accurate. When customers notify us that the information is inaccurate, we will research the matter and make any necessary corrections.
EMPLOYEE AND VENDOR ACCESS TO INFORMATION
Only authorized Santa Lucia Bank employees and vendors who have a legitimate business purpose for knowing such information will have access to personally identifiable information. Each employee has responsibility for maintaining the confidentiality of customer information. We have policies and security procedures in place to limit access to account and customer information, and take appropriate disciplinary measures to enforce employee responsibility.
RESTRICTION ON THE DISCLOSURE OF ACCOUNT INFORMATION
With certain exceptions, Santa Lucia Bank will not reveal personal information with unaffiliated third parties for their independent use. The most common exception is the exchange of information with reputable information reporting agencies to maximize the accuracy and security of such information. Other exceptions include the performance of bona fide corporate due diligence, responding to customer requests that the information be provided, and disclosure required or allowed by law. Santa Lucia Bank does not sell, transmit or share personal information for marketing or similar purposes.
Santa Lucia Bank will not share personal information with unaffiliated third parties for their independent use, except for the exchange of information with reputable information reporting agencies to maximize the accuracy and security of such information or in the performance of a bona fide corporate due diligence, unless: 1) the information is provided to help complete a customer initiated transaction; 2) the customer requests that the information be provided; or 3) the disclosure is required or allowed by law. We do not disclose information about former customers, except as permitted by law.

ONLINE PRIVACY GUIDELINES
Protecting your online banking
Santa Lucia Bank is committed to making sure that your EZLink sessions are secure. We are confident that access to your accounts through EZLink is private and secure, however, we are unable to provide similar assurances for other web sites. When you bank online with us, we, along with outside data processing companies we work with to bring these services to you, have access to information you provide during an EZLink session. That information is retained in our system or in the system of the appropriate outside company, depending on what is required to serve you. We use state-of-the-art Internet technology, supported by the outside companies we work with, to make online banking secure, and to protect your personal information. Whenever you enter information during an EZLink session, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology for transferring the data. This technology encrypts, or scrambles, your account information so it is virtually impossible for anyone other than Santa Lucia Bank to read it.
Each customer that requests access to EZLink with Santa Lucia Bank, must submit an application in writing by mail or in person at any office. Notification and approval will be provided to each customer by an authorized Access Code and Password for their initial session, which must be changed upon sign on. We utilize these security controls to protect our e-banking customers, but also to limit the risk to unauthorized data access or security problems.
You play an important role in maintaining the security of your banking information by not sharing your Access Code or Password with anyone, by changing your Password regularly, and by signing off at the end of every EZLink session.
